After some months of winter-work, the sail-top was now ready in April
2001.
The boat was fixed with belts and we go for testing.
In a small bay in Denmark, we now tried it on the Baltic sea.
Everything worked like expected - only the helm-installation-my paddle
and
then a belt of the rowboat put itself as useless out
.
The rudder-installation of a small yawl was tried for the next attempt.
We screwed these at the motor-mounting of the Canadian and fixed the
whole
behind the rear seat.
It worked very well with the next test on the ''Plöner See''.
I was with the boat over summer on the Plattensee (Hungary), Donau,
Baltic
sea, Elbe and on the Müritzer Seenplatte.
We could bring the boat to water everywhere with a small canoe-car,
could
bathe from the boat and could sail with 20 cm water-low (the boat is
steered
with high-worked out rudder or paddles). We were on tour with motor and
paddles on the Donau and the innumerable branch with 3 grown-ups and 2kids.
